His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025 in Abu Dhabi. The event saw participation from over 500 government officials. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stated: "Today I witnessed the UAE Government Annual Meetings, the largest national gathering of its kind. We are guided in our efforts by the spirit of the Union, and the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, moving toward achieving our national priorities. UAE government teams work in harmony and with unwavering dedication to reinforce the UAE’s leadership in all sectors."

The meetings featured various initiatives aimed at advancing national priorities and enhancing the UAE's leadership in future-focused sectors. A significant part of the agenda included discussions on strategic partnerships with universities and academic institutions to promote institutional excellence. The event also introduced initiatives like the AI Readiness Indicator and identified 1,000 applications of AI.

During the meetings, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum reviewed activities designed to boost progress on national goals. These initiatives aim to solidify the UAE's influential role regionally and globally. The agenda included sessions addressing major national priorities such as traffic congestion, healthcare realities, water security, and readiness for regional and global changes.

An unprecedented feature was the UAE International Press Conference organised by the UAE Government Media Office. It brought together ministers with over 200 journalists from local, regional, and international media outlets. This engagement underscores transparency and open communication regarding national developments.

The Ministerial Development Council meeting was another key component, uniting ministers from federal and local entities across the UAE for collaborative discussions. Executive Councils from Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Ras Al Khaimah also convened during this time.
