UAE Set To Host Major Conferences And Events In February 2025
In February 2025, the UAE will host a series of significant conferences and exhibitions, showcasing its influential role in shaping future sectors globally. These events will attract broad international participation, reinforcing the UAE's status as a premier destination for business tourism and conferences.
The International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2025 editions will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 17th to 21st February. These exhibitions will highlight innovations across 17 sectors, including land, air, unmanned systems, and maritime technologies. They focus on advancements in smart mobility and autonomous operations, showcasing navigation systems, radar systems, and command technologies that are transforming modern defence strategies.

Abu Dhabi will host the "ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS) 2025" from 10th to 12th February. Organised by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority and ICAO, this event will also feature an exhibition and launch the first "Global Sustainable Aviation Marketplace." Over 1,500 participants from ICAO's 193 member states are expected to attend.
The World Governments Summit's 12th edition is scheduled in Dubai from 11th to 13th February. It will gather over 30 heads of state and government, more than 80 organisations, and around 6,000 participants. The summit includes discussions on future trends through global forums, interactive sessions with over 300 speakers, roundtable discussions, and strategic reports releases.
The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival will occur on 1st to 2nd February at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park. This event features over 300 speakers from various countries, alongside startups and numerous activities. The programme includes workshops, investor meetings, performances, and music concerts.
Sharjah’s Xposure International Photography Festival will take place from 20th to 26th February at Aljada. This festival celebrates visual storytelling with over 420 photographers showcasing artworks. The week-long event includes exhibitions, workshops by experts in photography and cinema, portfolio reviews, and film screenings reflecting global diversity.
Heritage Celebrations
The Sharjah Heritage Days' 22nd edition is set for 12th to 23rd February. Organised by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, it involves participation from over 26 countries including GCC members. This event highlights cultural heritage through various activities involving Arab and foreign nations.
The UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai) will be hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 4th to 6th February. This major regional event expects over 66,000 visitors from around the world with thousands of brands represented by global companies specialising in dental supplies.
Abu Dhabi will also host the second International Dialogue of Civilisations & Tolerance Conference focusing on youth empowerment's role in promoting tolerance. With more than a hundred speakers from different sectors participating alongside interactive workshops, this conference aims to attract over five thousand attendees.
