UAE Gears Up For A Busy September With Major International Events And Activities
The UAE is gearing up for a bustling September, packed with significant international events and activities. These gatherings reinforce its status as a global centre for business, tourism, and specialised conferences. The nation has become a top destination for hosting prestigious exhibitions, summits, and conventions, attracting widespread participation from countries worldwide.
The 22nd Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) is already underway until 7th September. It showcases record participation from major global brands across 15 sectors, merging Emirati heritage with modern innovation. Meanwhile, the WHX Tech 2025 exhibition will focus on digital healthcare from 8th to 10th September. This event will feature over 200 speakers, 300 brands, and attract 5,000 healthcare leaders from 30 countries.
The International Real Estate and Investment Show (IREIS) will occur from 12th to 14th September. It serves as an essential platform for both local and international investors and consumers. Additionally, the Meeting of the International Continence Society (ICS25) is scheduled between 18th and 20th September. This meeting will bring together experts from the International Continence Society and the Emirates Urological Society.
On the cultural front, the Congress of Arabic and Creative Industries will be held on 14th–15th September. Organised by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, it will explore "Arabic Creativity Reimagined: Innovation in Storytelling and Audience Engagement." The Ajban Defence Industry & Technology Exhibition is set for 23rd–24th September. This event aims to highlight UAE's defence sector capabilities while fostering partnerships with local manufacturers.
Expo Science International (ESI) 2025 is slated to begin on 27th September. Organised by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), it will gather young talents for workshops, cultural tours, and an international exhibition. The Global Rail and Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference (GRTIEC) will launch on 30th September. It aims to attract top leaders and experts in transport and rail industries.
The Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) will take place from 30th September to 2nd October. Organised by DEWA, this event marks its 27th edition. Meanwhile, the Universal Postal Congress runs from 8th to 19th September with delegations from 192 countries discussing digital transformation, AI integration, green logistics, and equitable postal access.
Specialised Forums
The International MEIDAM Congress is scheduled for 25th–27th September at Dubai World Trade Centre. It will bring together specialists from over 90 countries to share insights in their fields. Additionally, the Sharjah Government Media Bureau organises the International Government Communication Forum in its fourteenth edition in 2025. This forum will convene thought leaders, innovators, and academics to discuss pressing issues.
