In the UAE, the Fuel Price Committee has set the fuel prices for October 2025, marking slight increases across the board from the previous month.
Starting October 1, Super 98 petrol will see a rise, being priced at Dh2.77 per litre, up from Dh2.70. Similarly, Special 95 petrol will also see an increase, going up to Dh2.66 per litre from Dh2.58.
Moreover, E-Plus 91 petrol is set to cost Dh2.58 per litre, showing a rise from Dh2.51. Diesel prices will similarly increase, with the new rate being Dh2.71 per litre, up from Dh2.66.
This upward adjustment in fuel prices reflects a consistent trend in the energy sector, impacting drivers and industries alike. The slight hike in prices from September to October for various fuel types indicates a dynamic pricing environment in the UAE.
The updated rates signify that consumers will need to adjust their budgets accordingly, as fuel costs constitute a significant portion of monthly expenses for many. Diesel, crucial for transportation and logistics, will also be more expensive, which might influence the operating costs of businesses relying heavily on transportation.
