UAE Flag Day 2023: Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Celebrates National Unity And Loyalty

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs celebrated UAE Flag Day on 3rd November, a day that symbolises loyalty to the United Arab Emirates and its leadership. This annual event highlights the unity and solidarity among UAE citizens and residents, reflecting the pride in the nation's founding values.

During the celebration, Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Minister of State, raised the flag at the Ministry's headquarters in Abu Dhabi at 11:00. The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries including Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Saeed Mubarak Rashed Al Hajeri, and other senior officials.

The event was a response to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's call for citizens and institutions to raise the UAE flag at 11:00 on 3rd November. This initiative underscores national unity and a shared commitment to patriotism and loyalty to the nation and its leaders.

Attendees expressed their congratulations and best wishes to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates. They pledged continued dedication to serving the nation with sincerity.

The gathering also celebrated the achievements of the UAE while aiming for further prosperity and excellence. The Ministry's observance of Flag Day reflects a collective effort towards progress, inspired by national pride and commitment to shared values.

Among those present were Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, Sultan Mohammed Saeed Al Shamsi, Omran Anwar Sharaf, Dr. Maha Barakat, Abdulla Ahmed Balalaa, Salem Saeed Al Jabri, Engineer Abdullah Mohammed Alblooki, Saif Abdullah Mohammed Al Shamsi, and Huda Ibrahim Al Khamis-Kanoo.
