UAE And EU Presidents Discuss Strengthening Ties And Addressing Gaza Crisis
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in a phone call with Charles Michel, President of the European Council, to discuss cooperation between the UAE and the EU. They explored ways to enhance this collaboration, building on the strong relations that unite the UAE and EU countries.
During the call, they reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East and addressed the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. Both leaders emphasised the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire, highlighting the importance of de-escalation and international action to achieve a just and lasting peace based on the two-state solution.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed reiterated the UAE's commitment to working with all parties, including the EU, to enhance responses to the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. He stressed that preserving civilian lives was vital and called for intensified efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire to prevent further conflict in the region.
