UAE Gears Up For Employee Happiness Awards 2024, Celebrating HR Excellence

The Employee Happiness Awards, a pioneering initiative by Plan3Media, is making headlines again as it prepares to spotlight transformations in the human resources (HR) sector, particularly focusing on employee experience and wellness. This awards ceremony, which is now accepting nominations across 27 unique categories, aims to recognize and celebrate the achievements of companies and individuals excelling in HR practices.

The previous edition of the Employee Happiness Awards, held in June 2023, witnessed an impressive turnout with nominations from sectors including retail, real estate, healthcare, education, and finance. Esteemed winners included Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, Nakheel, ADNH Compass, Marriott International, Babyshop, Cigna Healthcare, Du, DAMAC Properties, Rove Hotels, Alef Education, Masafi, and Pinsent Masons. Encouraged by the success and the positive reception of the last event, Plan3Media has expanded the categories and is gearing up for an even larger gala ceremony in Dubai.

Plan3Media's CEO, Jatin Deepchandani, shared insights into the foundation of the Employee Happiness Awards, highlighting the importance of a merit-based recognition system. "In an era where corporate awards often serve as self-praise, we aimed to introduce a genuine meritocracy. Our commitment to transparency and integrity has set our awards apart, making them a symbol of HR excellence," Jatin remarked. The nomination process for the awards is thorough, starting with an online submission that includes basic information, category selection, and an overview of the nominee's competencies. Finalists then present to an independent jury, which evaluates each nominee based on specific metrics. Each company can nominate up to three categories, with 22 categories available for companies and five for individuals.

The much-anticipated black-tie gala awards ceremony is scheduled for Friday, June 7, 2024, and is expected to draw over 200 Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs), HR professionals, government officials, and startup founders. Gold and Silver winners in each category will be announced during the event, showcasing their achievements in HR strategies and employee experience. The trophies awarded will symbolize the winners' excellence in talent attraction and retention.
