UAE And Egyptian Presidents Discuss Strengthening Fraternal Ties In Cairo Meeting

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently visited Cairo to meet with His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt. The discussions centred on enhancing the strong ties between the UAE and Egypt, focusing on cooperation in developmental, economic, and investment sectors. Both leaders expressed their dedication to fostering these relations to achieve mutual progress and prosperity for their nations.

During their meeting, the two presidents reiterated their commitment to deepening the fraternal relationship between the UAE and Egypt. They emphasised advancing collaboration across various fields to benefit both countries. This commitment reflects a shared vision for future growth and development, aiming to meet the aspirations of their peoples.

The meeting was attended by several key members from both sides. From the UAE delegation were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office; Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; and Mariam Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt.

From Egypt's side, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly was present along with several ministers and senior officials. This high-level participation underscores the importance both nations place on this bilateral relationship. The presence of such prominent figures highlights the significance of these discussions in shaping future cooperation.

Following their productive talks, President El-Sisi hosted an Iftar banquet in honour of Sheikh Mohamed and his accompanying delegation. This gesture further symbolised the warm relations between the two countries and provided an opportunity for informal discussions among officials.

At the end of his visit, Sheikh Mohamed departed from Cairo International Airport. He was seen off by President El-Sisi and other senior Egyptian officials. This farewell marked a successful conclusion to a visit aimed at reinforcing strong bilateral ties between Egypt and the UAE.

The visit signifies a continued commitment by both nations to work closely together across various sectors. By focusing on shared interests in development and investment, they aim to achieve greater prosperity for their people while strengthening regional stability through cooperation.
