UAE, Egypt Deliver Essential Aid To Gaza In 'Birds Of Goodness' Mission

The United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with the Arab Republic of Egypt, has once again demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian efforts in the Gaza Strip. The Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence disclosed the successful execution of the fourth airdrop of humanitarian and relief aid into the northern part of the Gaza Strip. This initiative is part of the "Birds of Goodness" operation, designed to provide much-needed assistance to the Palestinian people affected by conflict.

During this latest mission, joint teams from the UAE and Egypt utilized aircraft to deliver approximately 53 tonnes of food and medical supplies. This recent effort has increased the total aid delivered under this operation to 169 tonnes since its inception. The "Birds of Goodness" operation falls under the broader "Gallant Knight 3" humanitarian campaign, which commenced on 5th November 2023, following directives from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
