Abdullah Bin Zayed Leads UAE Delegation At Iranian President Inauguration
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, led the UAE delegation at Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian's inauguration as President of Iran. The event took place in Tehran, with representatives from various countries in attendance.
The delegation included Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy; Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defense, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee at the Federal National Council (FNC); Dr. Tariq Humaid Al Tayer, First Deputy Speaker of the FNC; and Saif Mohammed Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Iran.
During his meeting with President Pezeshkian, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasised the UAE's desire to enhance bilateral relations with Iran. He highlighted that such cooperation would benefit both nations and contribute to regional peace, security, and stability.
Sheikh Abdullah conveyed President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's congratulations to Dr. Pezeshkian. He also extended best wishes for success in serving Iran and fulfilling its people's aspirations.
Upon arrival in Tehran for the inauguration ceremony, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed received an official reception. The ceremony was held at the Iranian Parliament headquarters.
