The UAE delegation firmly rejected any attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians. They underscored the necessity of establishing an independent Palestinian state through a two-state solution. This stance highlights the UAE's dedication to finding peaceful resolutions in conflict areas. The delegation also expressed deep concern over Sudan’s humanitarian crisis, advocating for a civilian-led political transition supported by international efforts.

In Sudan, the UAE stressed urgent measures to protect civilians and ensure unhindered humanitarian aid delivery. They called for preventing either warring party from using aid as a political tool. The delegation highlighted that since the conflict began, the UAE has provided over USD680 million in support.

The UAE's achievements in technology, AI, and sustainability were also highlighted during the session. The introduction of an AI curriculum in government schools and leading positions in Global Competitiveness Indicators were noted as significant accomplishments. These advancements reflect the UAE's commitment to innovation and sustainable development.

The UAE is actively pursuing a green transition through initiatives like 'Net-Zero 2050' and 'Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative'. These projects demonstrate their dedication to environmental sustainability. Additionally, they launched 'Erth Zayed Philanthropies', aligning with Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's legacy.

International Relations and Legal Matters

The delegation addressed baseless allegations made by Port Sudan Authority against the UAE. They referred to a ruling by the International Court of Justice on May 5, 2025, which dismissed these claims as unfounded. This decision reaffirms that such allegations lack any basis.

The session concluded with a focus on foreign policy commitments towards aid. The launch of 'Erth Zayed Philanthropies' was emphasised as part of this commitment. It aligns with Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s vision for philanthropy and international cooperation.
