UAE National Pavilion Highlights Defence Innovations At DSA 2024
The United Arab Emirates is marking its presence at the 18th edition of the Defense Services Asia (DSA) exhibition, scheduled from 6th to 9th May in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This event is recognized as a significant gathering in the defence sector, attracting over 1,200 global companies from more than 60 countries. These entities will present their newest products, technologies, and services in defence and security.
The UAE National Pavilion, under the auspices of the UAE Ministry of Defence and Tawazun Council and organized by the Emirates Defence Companies Council (EDCC), will host leading UAE-based firms. Among these are EDGE Group, Calidus, Advanced Armor Engineering (AAE), Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat), Avantguard Holding Limited, Darwish Bin Ahmed & Sons, and the Ministry of Defence's "Al Jundi" magazine. Additionally, Capital Events will highlight the forthcoming IDEX 2025 international defence exhibition.

Visitors to the pavilion can expect to see a broad spectrum of advanced defence offerings, including electronic weapons systems, armoured vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), air defence systems, communications technology, space and satellite systems, and training & simulation solutions.
The UAE's participation underscores its dedication to fostering international defence and security cooperation. It aims to showcase Emirati defence products, exchange expertise, and explore opportunities for global collaboration.
Mona Ahmed Al Jaber, Chairwoman of the EDCC, emphasized that the national pavilion's participation reflects the Council's commitment to enhancing international defence cooperation. It also serves as a platform for learning about the latest industry technologies and creating new partnerships to bolster the UAE defence industry's position in Asian and global markets.
Hanadi bin Darwish, CEO of Avantguard, highlighted the exhibition as a crucial opportunity for learning about cutting-edge global technologies. It also facilitates international cooperation in the defence and security industries while promoting Emirati technology on a worldwide stage.
DSA stands out as one of the largest international defence exhibitions in terms of scope and participant numbers. It provides an essential platform for showcasing the latest innovations and solutions in the defence and security sectors.
