Al Zeyoudi said the UAE’s participation allowed direct engagement with partners from several regions. "The UAE’s presence at the World Economic Foum emphasises our national commitment to fostering global economic growth and prosperity. We have always believed that strong international partnerships are essential to driving growth and prosperity, not just for our nation, but for the world. Our conversations in Davos centered around increasing trade and investment flows around the world by forging closer economic partnerships with like-minded nations. Together, through collaborating in an open, rules-based trading system, we can achieve our shared goals of economic development and sustainable growth for people from all corners of the planet."

Alongside bilateral meetings, Al Zeyoudi took part in panel sessions and forums on the shifting global trading landscape. Al Zeyoudi outlined the UAE’s policies to manage current trade conditions, encourage advanced manufacturing, and support wider participation in supply chains. Al Zeyoudi also unveiled the third annual TradeTech report, which examines how different layers of technology are adopted in global trade systems.

The visit also focused on public-private partnerships, with Al Zeyoudi meeting senior executives from several major companies. These included representatives from Embraer, Carlyle, Qualcomm, Tech Mahindra, Syngenta, Blackrock, and TIME. Al Zeyoudi underlined that cooperation between governments and businesses is essential and pointed to the UAE’s innovative and pro-business environment for international investors.

The World Economic Forum’s annual gathering serves as a meeting point for governments, companies, and institutions to discuss global challenges. This year’s sessions stressed how dialogue and cooperation are vital when dealing with current economic and geopolitical pressures, while also helping states and businesses work towards future opportunities, a message reflected in the UAE’s engagements in Davos.
