UAE Strongly Condemns Israeli Violations At Al-Aqsa Mosque And In West Bank

The United Arab Emirates has strongly denounced the ongoing violations by Israeli forces and settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. These actions include repeated incursions into Al-Aqsa courtyards, provocations of worshippers, and an attack on a mosque in Kifl Hares. The UAE cautioned that such arbitrary actions could dangerously escalate tensions in the region.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of the UAE reiterated its firm stance demanding an immediate stop to these serious violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque. It stressed the importance of respecting Jordan's custodial role over holy sites as per international law and historical agreements. The Ministry also emphasized not undermining the authority of the Jerusalem Endowment Administration, which oversees Al-Aqsa Mosque, Qubbat Al Sakhrah, and surrounding areas.

The UAE expressed full solidarity with Jordan's efforts to protect religious sites. The Ministry highlighted its support for all measures taken by Jordan to preserve these significant locations. This support underscores the UAE's commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
