UAE Voices Strong Opposition To Israel's Land Confiscation Plans
The United Arab Emirates has voiced its strong disapproval following the Israeli government's recent declaration to seize 8,000 dunams of land within the Jordan Valley, located in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. This move has sparked significant concern, prompting the UAE to express its firm opposition to any actions that aim to alter the historical and legal status quo of the area.
In a formal statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the UAE underscored its absolute rejection of any practices that contravene established resolutions on international legitimacy. Such actions are viewed as potential catalysts for further escalation and instability across the region, thereby hindering efforts towards achieving lasting peace and stability.

The Ministry emphasized the critical importance of supporting both regional and international initiatives designed to propel the Middle East peace process forward. It highlighted the urgent need to cease illegal activities that jeopardize the viability of a two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. The statement further reiterated the UAE's unwavering commitment to promoting peace, justice, and the fulfillment of the Palestinian people's rights.
Additionally, the Ministry appealed to the global community to ramp up efforts towards securing an immediate ceasefire. The aim is to mitigate further loss of life and prevent exacerbating tensions in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The call to action stresses the importance of mobilizing all efforts to secure a comprehensive and just peace in the region.
This stance by the UAE reflects its dedication to upholding international law and its active role in seeking peaceful resolutions to conflicts. By condemning actions that threaten peace and stability, the UAE reaffirms its position as a staunch advocate for justice and human rights on the global stage.
