UAE Strengthens Diplomatic Relations At Chad's Presidential Inauguration

On behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, attended the inauguration ceremony in N'Djamena for Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, President of the Republic of Chad, following his presidential election victory.

Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court. He extended their congratulations to Déby Itno and expressed wishes for further progress and prosperity for Chad's government and people.

UAE, Chad Boost Diplomatic Ties

Sheikh Shakhboot also affirmed the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Chad across various fields. He highlighted the wise leadership’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and collaborations to serve the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples.

In response, Déby Itno conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He expressed his wishes for continued development and growth for the UAE's government and people.

Déby Itno commended the close bilateral ties between Chad and the UAE. He emphasised the importance of joint efforts to enhance the existing partnership between the two nations, aiming to achieve benefits on issues of mutual concern.

He also underscored that the relationship between the UAE and Chad is witnessing continuous development, which serves the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples.
