UAE President And Australian Prime Minister Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties Through Economic Partnership Agreement
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of Australia met to explore enhancing cooperation under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. The meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, where His Highness welcomed the Australian Prime Minister, emphasising the robust and growing relationship between the UAE and Australia over recent decades.
The discussions highlighted key areas for collaboration, focusing on sectors such as investment, renewable energy, sustainability, and education. These sectors align with both countries' development priorities and offer significant opportunities for future cooperation. Both leaders expressed their commitment to advancing these objectives through the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed last year.

He noted that this move reflects a deep understanding of the foundations necessary for lasting peace in the region, including establishing a Palestinian state according to the two-state solution.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, along with several ministers and senior officials. Members of Prime Minister Albanese's delegation were also present.
