UAE Welcomes Wounded Palestinian Children And Cancer Patients In Ongoing Support Effort
The United Arab Emirates has once again demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian aid, with the arrival of the 15th group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients on Friday. This initiative, under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aims to provide medical treatment for 1,000 injured children and 1,000 cancer patients from the Gaza Strip in UAE's hospitals. The group, consisting of 27 patients in urgent need of medical assistance and accompanied by 60 family members, arrived from Al Arish International Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt to Zayed International Airport.
Upon their arrival, medical teams were quick to transfer the wounded and those requiring immediate care to hospitals for treatment. Meanwhile, other cases and their companions were moved to their residence in the Emirates Humanitarian City. The relatives of the patients expressed their gratitude towards the UAE and its leadership for this noble humanitarian initiative, highlighting it as a unique model of solidarity and support among nations. They also praised the UAE's swift response and the tireless efforts of medical and volunteer teams who provided unwavering support throughout their journey.

The UAE's support for Gaza has been unwavering since the onset of the crisis. Through "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3," the nation has been providing humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Additionally, the UAE has established a 150-bed field hospital in Gaza and a Floating Hospital in Al Arish port. This floating facility is equipped with 100 beds, operating rooms, intensive care units, radiology departments, laboratories, pharmacies, and medical cabinets, ensuring comprehensive medical care is available.
This initiative not only underscores the UAE's commitment to humanitarian aid but also strengthens the bonds of brotherhood between nations. The continuous support provided by the UAE during these challenging times serves as a testament to its role as a leading nation in offering aid and fostering international solidarity.
