UAE Announces Eid Al Adha 2024 Holidays For Public And Private Sectors
The UAE Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced the Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha holidays for federal government employees. The holidays will commence on 9 Dhul Hijjah, Saturday, June 15, and continue until 12 Dhul Hijjah 1445 AH, Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Work will resume on Wednesday, June 19.
FAHR issued a circular to all ministries and federal entities, detailing the holiday schedule. This circular aligns with the Cabinet Resolution on the public holidays calendar for 2024, applicable both public and private sectors.
FAHR extended congratulations on this auspicious occasion to the UAE's leadership, government, and people, as well as to the resident communities and Arab and Islamic countries.
Separately, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) also announced Eid Al Adha holidays for private sector.
The Ministry on its X platform wrote “We announce that 9 to 12 Dhu al Hijjah 1445 AH (June 15 to June 18) will be an official paid holiday for private sector employees in celebration of Day of Arafah and Eid Al Adha.
