UAE’s AI Office Collaborates With UiPath To Advance National AI Strategy Objectives

The UAE government has partnered with UiPath, a prominent enterprise automation and AI firm, to advance Agentic Automation. This initiative aims to develop AI-driven automation solutions for government bodies while enhancing the AI skills of UAE talent. The collaboration aligns with the UAE's goal to be a global leader in AI by 2031.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Daniel Dines, Founder and CEO of UiPath, signed the Memorandum of Understanding. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud highlighted the importance of partnerships with tech companies to achieve the UAE National Strategy for AI goals. He stated that these collaborations would enhance government services through AI-powered automation.

Zakaria Haltout from UiPath expressed enthusiasm about supporting the UAE's mission to integrate AI into operations. "The UAE has been fast in recognising and harnessing the tremendous potential unlocked by the AI revolution," he said. This partnership aims to empower government employees and graduates with essential AI skills, contributing to new economic and social opportunities.

UiPath will assist in creating an automation and AI training programme for up to 100 government employees or students. Participants will gain crucial skills using the UiPath Business Automation Platform. Additionally, Coders HQ participants will benefit from this training as part of the National Programme for Coders Initiatives.

The UiPath Academy will facilitate an AI and automation training framework allowing participants to earn UiPath Certified credentials. This initiative is part of a broader effort to prepare individuals for roles reliant on AI technologies.

Enhancing Public Services Through Pilot Projects

The partnership includes developing a vision and roadmap for leveraging AI in government-backed companies and startups. Both parties will explore ways to improve operational efficiency by embedding AI into public-facing services. Several pilot projects will test the capabilities of the UiPath Business Automation Platform.

Workshops led by UiPath aim to raise awareness about the benefits of AI-powered automation. These workshops are part of a collaborative framework designed to increase understanding among stakeholders about integrating advanced technologies into public services.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards achieving the UAE's ambitious vision in artificial intelligence. By focusing on skill development and operational efficiency, it sets a foundation for future advancements in technology within governmental operations.
