UAE's AI Office Forms Strategic Alliances with Austria, Mongolia, and Colombia to Promote AI

The UAE government, through its Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, has embarked on a strategic initiative to foster the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across various sectors. This initiative has been marked by the signing of three memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with Austria, Mongolia, and Colombia. Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, represented the UAE in these significant agreements. The MoU with Austria was co-signed by Florian Tursky, State Secretary for Digitalisation of the Austrian Government. Similarly, engagements with Mongolia and Colombia were solidified through agreements with Uchral Nyam-Osor, Minister of Digital Development and Communications of Mongolia, and Mauricio Lizcano, Minister of Information Technologies and Communications of Colombia, respectively.

The World Governments Summit 2024 played a pivotal role in these developments. The summit featured over 120 interactive sessions and workshops, hosting more than 200 speakers from 140 governments.
