Primary Itikaf Support At The Two Holy Mosques During Ramadan’s Final Ten Days

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of The Grand Mosque and The Prophet’s Mosque is delivering a comprehensive package of services for itikaf observers at the Two Holy Mosques during the last ten days of Ramadan, aiming to support worshippers in performing rituals calmly and with organised facilities.

According to the authority, specific areas inside the Two Holy Mosques have been set aside for itikaf observers, with each location clearly organised and numbered to ease access, regulate movement in corridors, and help manage crowds while preserving the spiritual atmosphere for worshippers in both the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

The service system for itikaf observers at the Two Holy Mosques includes personal care items, lockers for storing belongings, laundry facilities, and supplies for sleep and rest, while varied meals are provided so that worshippers can focus on worship, remembrance, and recitation of the Holy Quran without concern for basic daily needs.

Health support for itikaf observers at the Two Holy Mosques also forms part of the arrangements, with three dedicated health service points in operation, including one for women and two for men, helping to maintain safety and quick response to any medical needs during the last ten days of Ramadan.

The authority states that these arrangements are part of an integrated operational and service system designed to improve the quality of services for visitors to the Two Holy Mosques and to enrich the experience of visitors and itikaf observers, in line with directives from the leadership regarding care for pilgrims and worshippers and their comfort.
