During the 14th night of the Saudi Falcons Club Auction 2024, held at the club's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, two falcons were sold for a total of SAR 163,000. This auction event will continue until November 15. The first falcon, a young Shaheen from Um Al-Arad in the Eastern Province, was presented by seven falconers. Bidding began at SAR 50,000 and concluded at SAR 101,000.
The second falcon, also a young Shaheen, was brought by Falconer Abdulrahman Al-Jahni from Jazan and fetched SAR 62,000. The Saudi Falcons Club provides extensive services for falconers during the auction season. Teams from various regions assist falcon owners with accommodations and transportation to the auction venue.

The Saudi Falcons Club Auction is recognised as the largest official falcon auction in Saudi Arabia. It aims to enhance the Kingdom's cultural and economic heritage in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The event supports activities related to the falconry hobby and seeks to elevate the standards of falcon auctions in the Kingdom.
Each falcon is featured in a lively live auction broadcast on television and social media platforms. The club is dedicated to organising the falcon trade within Saudi Arabia while protecting endangered breeds by limiting their sale and raising awareness against capturing them.
The club's teams are stationed in the Eastern, Northern, Northwestern, and Southwestern regions to assist with logistics for falcon owners attending the auction. This support ensures smooth participation for enthusiasts and breeders worldwide who view this event as a premier destination.
The auction not only highlights cultural significance but also aligns with efforts to preserve endangered species. By restricting sales of certain breeds, it raises awareness about conservation efforts necessary for these majestic birds.
This initiative reflects a commitment to maintaining traditional practices while adapting them to modern standards. The club's efforts contribute significantly to promoting sustainable practices within the falconry community.
