Artists from 23 countries were selected from over 750 applicants worldwide, chosen for their artistic excellence and craftsmanship.

Tuwaiq Sculpture Exhibition Opens in Riyadh

Beyond just displaying sculptures, the exhibition includes an interactive public engagement program. This program features workshops where visitors can interact with artists and learn about different sculpting techniques. Panel discussions with art and design experts are also part of the program, along with specialized training for art enthusiasts and sculpture professionals.

Live demonstrations will reveal secrets of sculpting methods and contemporary artistic approaches. This initiative aligns with Riyadh Art's vision to transform the capital into an open-air art gallery, enhancing Riyadh’s status as a global hub for art and creativity.

Once the exhibition concludes, the sculptures will be permanently displayed across various public spaces in Riyadh. They will join 35 sculptures from previous editions already installed at King Abdulaziz Historical Center. This ongoing project aims to enrich Riyadh's cultural landscape with lasting artistic legacies.

Lead Curator Sebastian Betancur-Montoya remarked: "This exhibition is the result of weeks of dedication, collaboration, and artistic innovation. These sculptures are not just artworks, but a lasting legacy that bridges the past, present, and future, making them an integral part of Riyadh’s cultural fabric."

Free Access for All Visitors

The exhibition is free and open to everyone. Visitors have the chance to explore these impressive sculptures through guided tours where artists share insights into their creative processes and inspirations. This accessibility encourages public engagement with art in a meaningful way.
