Tuwaiq Academy Students Secure 9 Gold Medals At ITEX 2024, Marking A National Achievement

Nineteen students from Tuwaiq Academy have achieved significant success at the International Inventions, Innovations, Technology Competition and Exhibition (ITEX) 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The students secured nine gold medals, one silver medal, and 11 special awards for their innovative projects in various fields of science and technology.

The students' achievements are the result of several months of dedicated work on creative projects in areas such as automation and manufacturing, information and communication technology, materials science, education, environment, healthcare, and home and office products. They dedicated their success to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

During ITEX 2024, Tuwaiq Academy showcased ten innovative projects developed by 19 students in collaboration with Misk Schools and the Ministry of Education. These projects focused on building technological solutions in various fields. The academy's students have started registering patents in automation and manufacturing, information and communication technology, materials science, education, environment, healthcare, and home and office products.

Tuwaiq Academy also participated in judging several international projects during the exhibition competitions. The academy honoured the winners during the closing ceremony activities. The exhibition allowed students to present their projects to visitors, investors, and innovation enthusiasts through Tuwaiq Academy's pavilion.

The academy's pavilion received visits from notable figures such as the Saudi Ambassador to Malaysia, Mesaad bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaim, and the Cultural Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Malaysia, Dr. Fahd Al-Shammari. These visits highlighted the importance of nurturing national talents to represent Saudi Arabia in regional and global competitions.
