Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen Alalshikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), has been named the most influential figure in boxing for 2024 by Sports Illustrated (SI). This recognition is part of ongoing support from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. It aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritises sports to foster a healthy lifestyle, improve infrastructure, and host international events.

The annual list by SI, a leading U.S. sports magazine with over 70 years of history, highlights the most powerful figures in sports each year. Advisor Alalshikh topped this list, surpassing notable figures like British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. Also featured were Rakan Al-Harthy, Managing Director of Sela Company, and renowned boxing promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren.
