Turki Alalshikh Announces Ticket Launch For Riyadh Season World Snooker Championship Featuring Top Players
Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, has announced that tickets for the Riyadh Season World Snooker Championship 167 are now available. The event is set to begin on November 19 and will feature top snooker players from around the world. Notable participants include Ronnie O’Sullivan from England, Mark Allen from Northern Ireland, John Higgins from Scotland, Mark Williams from Wales, and Chinese players Ding Junhui and Zhao Xintong.
The championship will be held at the Global Theater in Boulevard City from November 19 to 21. It is organized in partnership with the World Snooker Tour (WST) and Riyadh Season. Matches will be played in a best-of-seven format until the final, which will be a best-of-nine contest on November 21.

This year's tournament introduces an exciting element called the "Golden Ball," worth 20 points. This innovation allows for a maximum break of 167 points, the highest possible in snooker history. The player who pots this ball will receive a $1 million prize.
Saudi Arabia's Ziyad Al Qabbani and Ayman Alamri are set to make their debut in this prestigious tournament. Al Qabbani, a national junior champion at just 15 years old, expressed his enthusiasm: "I'm really excited about the opportunity to compete in this huge tournament, particularly the chance to face Shaun Murphy, who is one of the all-time great players."
Ayman Alamri, a three-time Saudi national champion, shared his excitement about participating: "I am so grateful for the chance to mix it with the world's top ten players in this fantastic event." He hopes to showcase Saudi talent when he faces Ding Junhui on opening day.
