He stated it aligns with their vision to forge strong alliances with prominent research bodies. "The inauguration of TRENDS’ Virtual Office in Amman reflects its belief that research collaboration is key to achieving a deeper understanding of the complex challenges facing the region," he noted.

The Director-General of STRATEGIECS, Hazem Al-Dmour, highlighted the institute's dedication to narrowing the gap between knowledge and decision-making. He pointed out that working with TRENDS opens up new opportunities for joint research and expertise sharing, which benefits academia and boosts strategic awareness in the region.

The STRATEGIECS Institute is recognised as a leader in strategic forecasting. Its scenarios have achieved an accuracy rate of 87.5% during the first nine months of 2025. This high level of precision underscores its capability in predicting future trends and challenges.

As part of its initial activities, TRENDS’ office in Jordan hosted a joint panel discussion with STRATEGIECS to outline their future work plan. Additionally, the office director visited Al-Rai newspaper and met with its Director-General, Heyam Al-Karaki. They explored media cooperation opportunities aimed at increasing awareness about strategic issues.

Media's Role in Knowledge Dissemination

The visit to Al-Rai concluded with a roundtable discussion involving the newspaper’s management team. Participants underscored the critical role media plays in making research knowledge accessible to all societal segments. This dialogue highlighted how media can bridge gaps between complex research findings and public understanding.

This partnership between TRENDS and STRATEGIECS marks a significant step towards enhancing collaborative efforts in futures studies and foresight research content across the region.
