TRENDS Research & Advisory To Participate As Research Partner In Emirates Agriculture Conference 2025

TRENDS Research & Advisory will join the inaugural Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition 2025 as a Research Partner. This event, organised by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, is scheduled at the ADNEC Centre in Al Ain City from 28th to 31st May 2025. The conference aims to foster scientific dialogue and innovation in agriculture within the UAE.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, expressed pride in their role as a research partner for this significant event. He emphasised that the Ministry's choice of TRENDS highlights its commitment to research as a means of gaining knowledge. This partnership also reflects TRENDS' dedication to sustainability and addressing challenges through objective research.

TRENDS Joins Emirates Agriculture Conference 2025

The centre plans to engage in an AI-driven pavilion during the conference. It will also participate in research sessions and workshops that explore agriculture's future and how knowledge can drive innovative, sustainable solutions. Dr. Al-Ali noted TRENDS’ active interest in this area, with numerous studies already published on agricultural transformations.

TRENDS has produced several notable studies related to agriculture. These include "Climate-Smart Agriculture: Innovative Solutions to Achieve Food Security in the Gulf Countries" and "The Shift Towards Sustainable Agriculture Systems in the UAE: Challenges and Opportunities." These works focus on advancing sustainable practices within the region.

Additionally, TRENDS has released a specialised publication on "Decarbonization in the Gulf Agricultural Sector and Mechanisms for Reducing It." This work addresses strategies for lowering carbon emissions within agriculture. Another significant contribution is the book "Mangroves: Sustainable Environmental Treasures," which highlights mangroves' vital role in biodiversity enhancement and climate change mitigation.
