TRENDS Research Debuts AI-Driven Pavilion At Abu Dhabi International Book Fair
At the 33rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, TRENDS Research & Advisory made a significant impact with the unveiling of its innovative pavilion. This year's presentation was not just about showcasing research publications; it was a deep dive into contemporary issues, with a special focus on political Islam movements. Moreover, the pavilion highlighted a forward-thinking knowledge programme titled "Foreseeing the Future with Artificial Intelligence (AI)."
The highlight of TRENDS' participation was the introduction of its hologram programme, projected from a device positioned prominently atop its pavilion. This cutting-edge technology provided visitors with comprehensive insights into TRENDS and its wide array of publications, effectively embodying the exhibition's slogan and demonstrating TRENDS' dedication to merging technology with knowledge advancement.
Adding to the technological showcase were TRENDS' artificial robots, "Echo" and "Moxie." These robots played a pivotal role in engaging visitors, offering them detailed information about TRENDS' publications and forthcoming events. In addition, the "Tara" glasses introduced by TRENDS offered attendees an opportunity to explore the centre's publications in a virtual environment, further enriching their experience.
The opening day of TRENDS' pavilion attracted a diverse audience that included officials, researchers, academics, students, and the general public. In alignment with an agreement established with the China International Communications Group (CICG), TRENDS took this opportunity to unveil and present the Arabic version of Chinese President Xi Jinping's book, "Chinese President Xi Jinping's Belt and Road Initiative." This presentation took place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) and attracted notable dignitaries, highlighting TRENDS' role in bridging knowledge gaps and facilitating cultural exchange.
