TRENDS And Pontifical Institute For Arabic And Islamic Studies Sign Research Cooperation Agreement

TRENDS Research & Advisory has entered into a cooperative agreement with the Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies (PISAI) in Rome. This collaboration aims to enhance academic and research efforts in areas such as studies, opinion polling, training, consultancy, and forward-looking studies. The focus is on promoting peace, tolerance, and constructive intellectual dialogue.

The memorandum was signed by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS, and Professor Wasim Salman, President of PISAI. The signing ceremony was attended by Abdulla Ali Al Sibousi, UAE Ambassador to Italy; Monsignor Dr. Yoannis Lahzi Gaid from the Vatican Secretariat of State for General Affairs; and various experts and researchers from both institutions.

This agreement highlights the shared commitment of both institutions to knowledge exchange and mutual understanding through objective study of regional and global issues. The cooperation will involve organising conferences and workshops, conducting joint research projects, exchanging expertise, and developing intellectual programmes.

Dr. Al Ali expressed that this memorandum opens new opportunities for partnership in scientific research. He mentioned that both parties will enhance cooperation through researcher exchanges and joint publications in Arabic and English.
