Exploring Future Research Collaborations Between TRENDS And Korea University
A delegation from TRENDS Research & Advisory, along with scholars from Korea University, discussed enhancing research and academic collaboration between their institutions. The panel discussion in Seoul was led by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, and Dr. Kim Dong-one, President of Korea University, with several academics and experts in attendance.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali presented Dr. Kim Dong-one with the TRENDS Research Medal at the start of the session. This gesture recognised Dr. Kim's support in establishing TRENDS' eighth global office on Korea University's campus and the university's partnership during an international AI conference organised by the UAE Embassy in Seoul.

Dr. Kim also received a copy of "Cybersecurity in the Age of AI," a book launched by TRENDS' Seoul Office as it began its activities. Both parties discussed future cooperation prospects, stressing the importance of activating scientific and intellectual dialogue channels between research and academic institutions to achieve shared goals and advance knowledge.
The discussions highlighted the need for specialised research in modern technological fields, particularly artificial intelligence and its various applications. Emphasising this focus aims to contribute significantly to future foresight and knowledge advancement.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali expressed his pleasure in collaborating with Korea University, one of Asia's top institutions, and opening TRENDS' eighth global office on its campus.
