TRENDS Partners With Council Of Retired Diplomats For Enhanced Training And Research

TRENDS Research & Advisory and the Council of Retired Diplomats have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration in training, research, and studies. The MoU was signed by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, and Dr. Saeed Mohammed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Council.

The agreement aims to exchange expertise, especially in diplomacy and international relations training. This follows TRENDS' recent launch of the International Training Institute in partnership with the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations. The MoU also includes organising joint scientific events and exchanging knowledge publications.

TRENDS Signs MoU with Diplomats

Dr. Al-Ali expressed gratitude for this collaboration, highlighting TRENDS' dedication to working with the Council in various fields. He emphasised the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge in diplomacy, forming training partnerships, leveraging the Council members' skills, and conducting studies on regional and international issues.

Dr. Al Shamsi praised TRENDS for its global activities, particularly in youth empowerment. He acknowledged the centre's efforts in launching the TRENDS International Training Institute and its association with the Geneva School of Diplomacy. Dr. Al Shamsi also appreciated TRENDS' diverse research publications and scientific initiatives.

He highlighted TRENDS' commitment to empowering youth by developing their skills to innovate and contribute effectively to shaping the future. Dr. Al Shamsi affirmed that the Council is dedicated to establishing partnerships that support youth empowerment by providing new opportunities for knowledge and expertise development.

The signing ceremony was attended by several Council members, including Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al Haidan, Dr. Mohammed Omar Bilfaqih, Jumaa Mubarak Al Junaibi, as well as officials and researchers from TRENDS.

This collaboration signifies a step forward in fostering cooperation between both entities to achieve mutual goals in training, research, and studies.
