TRENDS To Launch Singapore Resilience Study, Host Symposiums At IGCF 2024
TRENDS Research and Advisory will engage in the 13th International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2024) with a comprehensive agenda of research and knowledge activities. This includes four scientific symposiums and panel discussions, alongside the launch of a study titled "Asian Resilience: Learning from Singapore’s Experience to Enhance Government Resilience in the Age of Crises." Additionally, TRENDS will participate in the "Researchers’ Platform" sessions to showcase its initiatives supporting scientific research and will sign two cooperation agreements.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, highlighted that the IGCF serves as a crucial hub for scientific and intellectual exchange. He noted that this edition aligns with rapid global transformations and mounting challenges. According to Dr. Al Ali, think tanks and research institutions play a pivotal role by offering scientific analyses and strategic insights that shape flexible government communication policies.

TRENDS is participating as a strategic partner for the event, organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau under the theme "Agile Governments... Innovative Communication." The Forum will take place on 4th to 5th September 2024 at Expo Sharjah, featuring decision-makers, thought leaders, academics, experts, and specialists from around the globe.
Dr. Al Ali further explained that research institutions provide precise information and analytical tools essential for developing communication strategies based on scientific foundations. This makes their involvement in the Forum a valuable addition towards achieving more effective government communication.
TRENDS will establish a dedicated knowledge pavilion in Hall 7, equipped with advanced technology leveraging artificial intelligence. The pavilion will host symposiums and panel discussions throughout the forum. It will also feature the Podcast Studio aimed at recording new episodes of the Trending Echoes series with key figures participating in the forum.
He added that TRENDS’ contribution aims to enhance understanding of global challenges from multiple perspectives and innovate solutions supporting sustainable development. The participation of think tanks strengthens the Forum’s impact by fostering shared thinking and innovation.
Scientific Contributions
