UAE's Travelex Opens 7 New Stores And 8 ATMs At Abu Dhabi Airport

In a strategic move to broaden its reach within the Middle East, Travelex, a renowned global brand in travel money services, has recently inaugurated seven stores and eight ATMs at the Zayed International Airport – Terminal A in Abu Dhabi. This expansion brings the total count of Travelex stores in the UAE to 49, marking a significant development in the company's presence in the region.

The newly opened facilities, which are distributed as four landside and three airside stores, are part of Travelex's ongoing strategy to enhance its distribution network across the UAE and the broader Middle East. Over the past months, Travelex has been active in establishing new bureaux and On-The-Move kiosks at key locations, including airports in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and the Mina Rashid sea port. Additionally, the company has invested in the renovation and expansion of its existing outlets at Sharjah airport.

Besides these efforts, Travelex has made notable strides in extending its services through the introduction of new ATMs at the Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal and Dubai International. The brand has also seen considerable growth in its wholesale banknotes and concessionaire businesses within the region, indicating a robust expansion of its operational footprint.
