Transport And Logistics Ecosystem Showcases Integrated Services For Pilgrims At Hajj Conference
The Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services is actively participating in the fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition. This event takes place from November 9 to 12, 2025, at Jeddah Superdome. The ministry's pavilion unites various entities within the transport and logistics sector. These include the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Transport General Authority, Roads General Authority, Saudi Ports Authority, Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR), Matarat Holding, Saudi Post (SPL), Saudia, and the National Transport Safety Center.
SAR Spokesperson Khaled Al-Farhan emphasised SAR's role in showcasing its rail transport services during the event. He highlighted the Haramain High-Speed Train and Mashair Train as key components in facilitating pilgrim movement. "Each conference edition provides a valuable opportunity for direct engagement with Hajj offices and for signing service agreements," he stated. This engagement aims to increase train trips and passenger numbers between Makkah and Madinah.

The transport and logistics ecosystem's participation highlights its dedication to serving pilgrims efficiently. It demonstrates quality services that ease pilgrim movement while boosting operational efficiency during Hajj. The focus is on technological advancements that enhance pilgrims' experiences, allowing them to perform rituals comfortably.
During the conference, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the Ministry of Interior. This agreement focuses on exchanging expertise, participating in joint conferences and exhibitions, promoting awareness of services provided to pilgrims, and enhancing integration in awareness initiatives.
An additional MoU was established with the Nusuk Program for Hajj and Umrah. This agreement aims to address field challenges by developing innovative solutions that improve pilgrim experiences. It also supports the sustainability of services provided to them.
The unified pavilion at the conference reflects an integrated approach among various entities under the transport system. This collaboration underscores collective efforts to serve pilgrims effectively during their spiritual journey.
