The journey to Mount Elbrus was not just about physical endurance; it tested discipline and teamwork. Participants faced extreme cold, snow, and high altitudes. These challenges helped them develop skills essential for leadership and life. It inspires life experiences that help participants tackle challenges and create success stories that elevate the UAE's global profile. The journey began with training in Kyrgyzstan, progressed through advanced programmes at Ski Dubai, culminating in this remarkable challenge that showcased their resilience.
Khalid Ibrahim Al Nakhi, Director of Sharjah Capability Development, remarked on the achievements of Emiratis through the 'Towards the Summits' programme. He stated: "The Emiratis have done great things through the Towards the Summits programme. They have shown that the young people of UAE are strong-willed and able to lead and work together. Their success in getting to Mount Elbrus sends a clear message: investing in young people's potential is an investment in the future of the UAE."
Climbing Mount Elbrus was more than a physical feat; it was a test of character and leadership skills. Participants learned valuable lessons that extend beyond mountaineering into life and work. The real achievement lies in these lifelong skills that prepare them for future challenges.
