Makkah Hospitality Facilities Required To Ban Accommodation Without Hajj Permit Starting Dhul-Qidah 1, 1446 AH

The Ministry of Tourism has instructed all hospitality venues in Makkah to avoid accommodating guests lacking a Hajj permit or an official entry permit for work or residency during the Hajj season. This directive is effective from Dhul-Qidah 1, 1446 AH, and remains until the end of the Hajj period. The aim is to ensure pilgrims can perform their rituals safely and peacefully.

According to the Ministry of Interior, starting Tuesday, Dhul-Qidah 1, 1446 AH, individuals with visas other than a Hajj visa are not allowed to enter or stay in Makkah. This restriction aligns with efforts to maintain order and security during the pilgrimage. Hospitality facilities must comply by not housing those without appropriate permits.

Makkah to Enforce Hajj Permit Requirement for Accommodation

The Ministry of Tourism emphasized that these measures are part of broader efforts to secure a safe Hajj season. Coordination with other government bodies is crucial for this initiative. All hospitality establishments must adhere strictly to the regulations set for the 1446H Hajj season to protect pilgrims' safety.

Full cooperation with relevant authorities is essential, as stressed by the ministry. Any breach of these directives will lead to legal consequences. The ministry reiterated its commitment to ensuring that all procedures are followed diligently for a smooth and secure pilgrimage experience.
