Madinah's New Tourism Identity Strengthens Global Leadership And Visitor Experiences

Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah Region and Chairman of Al Madinah Region Development Authority, has introduced the "Tourism Identity of Madinah." This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to enhance visitor experiences and improve residents' lives. It also seeks to elevate Madinah's status as a top global destination.

The new identity draws from Madinah's rich history and culture, featuring elements like the Madinah typeface, volcanic plateaus, basalt stones, palm trees, and traditional architecture. These components create a unique visual brand that blends authenticity with modernity. The initiative aims to present Madinah as a world-class destination that strengthens emotional connections with both residents and visitors.

Madinah Launches New Tourism Identity Initiative

Fahad Albulihshi, the Mayor of Madinah and CEO of Al Madinah Region Development Authority, stated that this launch reflects the governor's directives to advance the tourism sector. It aims to boost the city's global reputation in line with Vision 2030. The unveiling coincided with Saudi Arabia's 95th National Day celebrations, highlighting community involvement in this significant event.

Albulihshi emphasized that the new identity showcases Madinah’s cultural and architectural diversity. It affirms its unique tourism appeal while preserving its historical essence.
