Tourism Development Fund Unveils SAR 2.9 Billion Investments At TOURISE Forum To Boost Saudi Tourism

The Tourism Development Fund has unveiled its participation in the TOURISE Forum 2025, announcing projects and partnerships valued at SAR2.9 billion. This initiative underscores the fund's role as an "Impact Sponsor" and a pivotal force in creating integrated destinations that enrich Saudi Arabia's tourism offerings while promoting sustainable economic growth.

Under the patronage of Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Aseer Region and Chairman of the Board of Aseer Development Authority, the announcement highlighted several projects in the Aseer Region. The event was attended by key figures including Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of the Tourism Development Fund, Eng. Mansour Al Mushaiti, Vice Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, and Qusai Al-Fakhri, CEO of the Tourism Development Fund.

The fund revealed five comprehensive tourism projects comprising 1,211 hotel keys. Among these are the Jareed Aseer project, Al-Hadaba park project, Westin Resort, and The House Residences. These developments aim to enhance the region's appeal as a year-round tourist destination.

Future plans include initiatives in Haifa and Jabal Abdullah areas under the Mantis hotel brand. These will be rolled out in phases to align with the Aseer Region Development Strategy. This strategy seeks to bolster the region's status as a premier tourism hub throughout the year.

During the forum, additional partnerships will be announced to support this vision further. These collaborations are designed to solidify Saudi Arabia’s standing as a top global destination for sustainable tourism.
