LEAP 2024 To Host Top Tech Investors, Startup Awards Exceed $1 Million

The third edition of LEAP, a prominent technology event, is set to take place from March 4 to 7, 2024, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham. Themed "Into New Worlds", this event is organized by the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, and Tahaluf company. It promises to be a significant gathering with over 1,000 top speakers across 10 different stages.

LEAP is designed to be a platform where the world’s leading investors will explore innovative investment opportunities at the Investor Stage. This segment will delve into how technology intersects with government policies and innovation alongside successful financing strategies. Additionally, the Startup Stage will feature discussions on startup growth and innovation by expert speakers including Emon Shakoor, CEO & Founder of Blossom Accelerator; Supreet Singh Manchanda, Founding Partner of Raiven Capital; and Vincent Li, Founding Partner of Adaverse.

The event will cover crucial topics for startups such as business planning and strategies, nurturing concepts into viable ideas, and the importance of enhancing user experience. Moreover, the Rocket Fuel Pitch competition is making a return with total prizes exceeding $1,000,000 across six categories. These include awards for the strongest startup, early-stage startups, startups pioneered by women founders, startups embodying the "tech for humanity" spirit, startups in the Metaverse and Web 3.0 space, and those presenting innovative uses of artificial intelligence.

In partnership with the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at) and strategic partner STC, LEAP will host leading tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Dell, Cisco, Avaya, SAP, ServiceNow, Ericsson, Amazon Web Services, IBM, Alibaba Group, and Huawei. This gathering underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to fostering innovation and growth in the tech sector.

The announcement was made by the organizing committee through a press release. The event is scheduled for local time 15:21 (12:21 GMT) underlining its global significance in the tech industry. With its comprehensive agenda and high-profile participants, LEAP 2024 is poised to offer unparalleled insights into new technological worlds.
