Thunderstorms And Heavy Rainfall Expected Across Most Regions Of The Kingdom Starting Wednesday

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning for most regions in Saudi Arabia. From Wednesday to next Sunday, these areas will face moderate to heavy thunderstorms. The NCM predicts that rainfall will become heavier on Thursday, with winds reaching speeds of 60 km/h or more, causing dust and sand to stir.

In the Makkah region, residents should prepare for flash floods and hail due to the expected weather conditions. Similarly, the Madinah governorates will experience heavy rain and strong winds, which could lead to flash floods and hail. Al-Baha is also forecasted to have similar weather patterns with potential hazards.

Thunderstorms to Affect Most Regions Starting Wednesday

Aseer Region is likely to see intensified rainfall on Friday and Saturday. This will be accompanied by strong winds causing dust and sand disturbances. Flash floods and hail are also anticipated in this area. Meanwhile, Jazan will experience similar weather conditions throughout the week.

The Najran region is expected to receive moderate rainfall along with strong winds that may cause dust storms. Flash floods and hail are possible here as well. Additionally, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Eastern Province, Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Al-Baha, and Jazan regions will see light to moderate rain from Wednesday through Sunday.

The NCM advises the public to stay informed about weather updates through its communication channels. It stresses the importance of following instructions from relevant authorities during this period of adverse weather conditions.
