Three Sets Of Saudi Twins Unite To Serve Pilgrims At Hajj Scouting Camp

This year's public service camps for Hajj 1446 AH, organised by the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, have seen a unique occurrence. Three sets of Saudi twins from Riyadh's Al-Rabie neighbourhood are participating. These six young men are part of the civil development association's scout group, all committed to aiding pilgrims during this significant event.

The twins—Hussam and Issam Saeed Al-Qarni, Azzam and Ammar Suleiman Al-Sulaiman, and Walid and Muhannad Abdul-Hakim Al-Otaibi—share more than just familial bonds. They are united by their passion for scouting and dedication to volunteer work. Their involvement in these camps is driven by a deep commitment to serving others.

Saudi Twins Unite for Hajj Service

Hussam and Issam Saeed Al-Qarni highlighted their lifelong dedication to scouting. "Scouting was not just a passing activity, but a life path chosen with conviction from a young age," they stated. They were taught to love their country, and through scouting, they can serve it by guiding pilgrims and providing first aid.

Azzam and Ammar Suleiman Al-Sulaiman shared how this experience has strengthened their relationship. They remarked, "We thought we knew each other well, but in the atmosphere of the pilgrimages and under the pressure of tasks, we discovered new dimensions of cooperation and interdependence." Their teamwork aims to ensure pilgrims' comfort.

Walid and Muhannad Abdul-Hakim Al-Otaibi expressed immense pride in their participation. They described it as transformative: "Today, we are not only serving but also learning how to stand calmly in the midst of a crowd." This experience is something they will cherish forever.

A Lasting Impact

The twins' involvement in these camps is more than just service; it's an educational journey. "Being here together, two brothers and twins, experiencing the same thing and sharing every detail is something we will carry with us for the rest of our lives," said the Al-Otaibi twins. This opportunity has left an indelible mark on them.

Their collective efforts highlight the spirit of unity and dedication among Saudi youth. These young men exemplify how scouting can foster personal growth while contributing significantly to society by assisting pilgrims during Hajj.
