Saudi International Maritime Forum To Address AI Trends And Maritime Security Challenges
The Royal Saudi Naval Forces will host the third Saudi International Maritime Forum from November 19 to 21 at Dhahran Expo in the Eastern Region. This event is under the patronage of Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. The forum's theme, "Maritime Security in the AI Era: Trends and Threats," reflects the global advancements in artificial intelligence.
Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Gharibi, Chief of Staff of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, expressed gratitude for the Minister of Defense’s support. He highlighted that this forum will explore how AI impacts maritime security. The event will bring together naval leaders and senior officials from various countries, focusing on military, scientific, and technical fields.

The forum will delve into several key areas through specialized sessions and workshops. These include naval strategies in the AI era, policies for integrating AI into naval operations, and modern naval systems' impact on maritime security. Cybersecurity challenges and naval training are also significant topics to be discussed.
