He was joined by Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir, Second Vice Chairman of SCCI, along with several board members. Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, and Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, were also present with senior officials and representatives from major fragrance companies.

Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition Launches

The exhibition is anticipated to draw over 25,000 visitors from both within the UAE and abroad. International brands from Oman, Türkiye, China, India, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are participating. This enriches the exhibition's offerings and fosters new opportunities for collaboration across regional and global perfume markets.

Attendees explored the venue and interacted with exhibitors showcasing their latest products and innovations. They commended the high organisational standards and international participation. This reinforces the event’s status as a leading platform for fragrance experts and enthusiasts.

Al Owais emphasised SCCI’s dedication to making the fragrance sector a strategic growth area in Sharjah’s economy. He highlighted the Emiratis for Oud and Perfumes Platform as a catalyst for supporting young Emirati entrepreneurs. It allows them to test new products, connect with experts and build sustainable ventures.

The Emiratis for Oud and Perfumes Platform has already attracted significant visitor interest. It provides young Emiratis exposure to traders, buyers and consumers while enhancing the global competitiveness of emerging national brands.

Exhibition Boosts Market Reach

The exhibition offers visitors an extensive range of Emirati and Gulf perfumes. These include limited collections and special releases alongside premium oud, incense and heritage-inspired scents. It also facilitates direct engagement between buyers and professionals, boosting brand visibility and market reach.

Midfa noted that the rise in exhibitors reflects strong industry confidence in Expo Centre Sharjah. The centre continues to generate commercial opportunities, facilitate international business expansion and strengthen Sharjah’s position as a hub for luxury fragrance trade.

The event is open daily from 12:00 to 22:30.
