Ajman's Real Estate Business Incubator Launches Under 'The Emirates: The Startup Capital Of The World' Campaign
The Ajman Government's Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, in partnership with the New Economy Academy, has introduced the 'Real Estate Business Incubator'. This initiative is part of the national campaign titled 'The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World', aiming to bolster real estate entrepreneurship in Ajman. The announcement was made during a press conference attended by Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi and Dr. Laila Faridoon.
The programme's primary goal is to qualify and license 200 real estate brokers over five years, starting with 40 in its first edition. It seeks to attract new real estate entrepreneurs capable of leading projects by offering training programs and workshops. These efforts aim to provide young individuals with opportunities in real estate entrepreneurship, adhering to international standards.

Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi described the initiative as a strategic move to advance Ajman's real estate sector. He stated: "The programme is built on three core elements: qualifying national talent, providing a legislative and regulatory framework, and creating a stimulating environment for innovation." This approach aims to empower entrepreneurs through specialised training in collaboration with the New Economy Academy.
The programme offers an integrated support system for real estate entrepreneurs and startups in Ajman. It includes professional mentorship, hands-on training, personalised consulting, and technical support to nurture national talent. These measures are designed to enhance innovation and sustainability within Ajman's real estate sector, fostering growth in a dynamic business environment.
Dr. Laila Faridoon highlighted that the six-month programme features intensive courses focusing on technical and administrative skills in real estate. It includes practical mentorship and training in digital leadership and property marketing. "We are committed to offering our expertise through the New Economy Academy platform to support the ambitions of Emirati youth in the real estate sector," she said.
The programme unfolds over four stages, starting with selecting 40 participants annually after evaluating candidates. A four-month intensive training follows, covering real estate fundamentals, financial principles, public relations, market analysis, feasibility studies, technology use, corporate planning, and operational management.
Mentorship and Evaluation
In the third phase, participants engage in a two-month practical mentorship where they apply their learning within their companies while receiving guidance from industry experts through events and meetings. The final phase involves evaluating each participant's progress and outcomes to support their strategic plans post-graduation.
The incubator aligns with the national campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to position the UAE as a global entrepreneurship hub. Supervised by various government bodies, this campaign unites over 50 public-private partners alongside academic institutions to create an innovation-friendly regulatory landscape supporting SMEs.
A key objective of this programme is enhancing collaboration between regulatory authorities and businesses to strengthen Ajman's competitive edge in attracting quality investments. By meeting entrepreneurs' needs through comprehensive services and creative solutions, it aims to raise awareness about investment opportunities within Ajman.
