Fifty years ago, Abdullah began a pivotal chapter in his life by traveling to Saudi Arabia on a scholarship from the Islamic University of Madinah. He recalls the Prophet's Mosque's simplicity during that time, contrasting it with its current grandeur. His 16-year stay in Saudi Arabia was dedicated to Islamic studies, culminating in a doctorate focused on Islamic advocacy and interfaith dialogue.

Abdullah's academic journey included studying Buddhism, Thailand's main religion, to develop effective Islamic outreach strategies. Upon returning to Thailand, he committed himself to spreading Islam's message. He translated the Holy Quran into Thai, broadening its accessibility and strengthening the Muslim community through numerous conversions.
The scholar highlighted Saudi Arabia's ongoing support for Muslims globally. This includes not only scholarships but also building mosques, distributing Qurans, and providing humanitarian aid. Graduates from Saudi universities hold esteemed positions in various fields like education and Islamic jurisprudence.
Looking ahead, Abdullah hopes his daughter will continue serving Islam as she studies at Taibah University in Madinah. He acknowledged Saudi Arabia's progressive educational approach and stressed the importance of women scholars in Islamic advocacy.
He extended heartfelt thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their unwavering commitment to serving Islam and Muslims everywhere in the world.
