Tenth Fujairah International Mining Conference To Explore Innovation And Sustainability In Mining Sector

The Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation (FNRC) has finalised preparations for the 10th Fujairah International Mining Conference. Scheduled from October 28–30, 2025, this event is themed "Mineral Resources for a Sustainable Community." It will occur under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah. The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and the Arab Organisation for Industrial Development, Standardisation, and Mining are collaborating on this event.

During a press conference at FNRC headquarters, details about this year's conference were shared. This edition will gather experts, specialists, investors, officials, and stakeholders worldwide. The event has evolved from a "Forum" to a "Conference," reflecting its growth and importance in the mining sector both regionally and globally.

The conference aims to highlight economic and developmental opportunities within the mining sector. It will emphasise its role in supporting sustainability strategies while enhancing Fujairah's position as a regional and global hub. The event will also promote investment opportunities by attracting leading global companies to strengthen national competitiveness.

Key themes include innovation through AI, data, automation in mining, corporate social responsibility, geological tourism development, and preserving geological heritage. These topics aim to align with sustainable growth requirements and foster industry advancements.

FNRC will announce winners of the Fujairah International Award for Best Sustainable Mining Practices during the event. Now in its second edition after a successful debut, this award introduces new categories to encourage broader participation. It aims to promote best practices aligned with sustainable development goals.
