Team Amsterdam Claims Victory In FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters Final Against Miami
In a thrilling finale at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters, Team Amsterdam emerged victorious against Miami. The event, held at the iconic Abu Dhabi Corniche, was organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) in collaboration with FIBA. Amsterdam clinched the title with a decisive 21-14 win over last year's champions.
The tournament featured 14 teams from 12 countries, showcasing intense competition. The Dutch team received a $40,000 prize from Talal Al Hashimi and Dr. Ahmed Al Qubaisi of ADSC. Ignacio Soriano from FIBA was also present during the award ceremony.

Worthy De Jong was honoured as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, receiving his award from Ahmed Al Qubaisi. His performance was instrumental in leading Amsterdam to victory. Meanwhile, Dejan Majstorovic excelled in the free throw contest and was awarded by Zainab Abdulrahman Mohamed.
Local favourite David Carlos thrilled fans by winning the Dunk Challenge. Adel Saeed Al Yaqoubi presented him with his prize, adding to the excitement of the event. These individual achievements highlighted the skill and talent on display throughout the tournament.
Talal Al Hashimi expressed gratitude to all contributors for their roles in making the event successful. "Once again, we thank everyone who contributed to the World Tour event here in Abu Dhabi, including supporting organizations, partners, and sponsors, for their significant role in the success of the championship," he stated.
