TDF Participates In Momentum 2025 To Strengthen Investment In Saudi Arabia's Tourism Sector

The Tourism Development Fund (TDF) will play a significant role as a hosting partner at the Development Finance Conference, known as Momentum 2025, in Riyadh. This event, organised by the National Development Fund (NDF), will take place at King Abdulaziz International Conference Center from December 9 to 11. The conference aims to explore the future of development finance and foster partnerships to boost promising sectors.

Momentum 2025 will bring together development funds and banks under the NDF umbrella, along with global leaders from financial and development institutions. Decision-makers, investors, and experts worldwide will also participate. The focus will be on discussing strategies for advancing various sectors through effective partnerships.

TDF Joins Momentum 2025 for Tourism Growth

Qusai A. Al-Fakhri, Chief Executive of TDF, highlighted tourism's role as a key economic driver for growth in Saudi Arabia. He stated that the fund aims to transform the sector's potential into viable investments. Al-Fakhri stressed that TDF's mission extends beyond financing projects; it includes empowering the private sector and supporting entrepreneurs.

The TDF is committed to creating an integrated ecosystem that promotes sustainable tourist destinations. This approach aims to generate positive social impacts and improve the quality of tourism experiences across the Kingdom. By doing so, TDF seeks to enhance Saudi Arabia's appeal as a tourist destination.

At Momentum 2025, TDF will present both financial solutions and non-financial empowerment programs through its TDF Grow center. This center serves as the fund’s non-financial enabling arm, focusing on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and enhancing entrepreneurs' capabilities.

TDF Grow is dedicated to expanding the investment base within the tourism sector by strengthening SMEs and entrepreneurs. This initiative aims to promote the development of tourism destinations throughout Saudi Arabia, contributing to economic growth and diversification.

The conference provides an opportunity for TDF to showcase its efforts in supporting sustainable tourism development. By facilitating discussions on development finance, Momentum 2025 seeks to create pathways for collaboration among various stakeholders in advancing promising sectors like tourism.
